Glass Performance Analysis
A large portion of personal injuries resulting from the effects of an extreme external force on a structure are due to glass fragmentation. Through the use of Extreme Loading® for Structures (ELS) software, structural engineers can perform significantly advanced structural vulnerability assessments, thereby helping to better understand the performance of a structure’s glazing. ELS is built around the Applied Element Method (AEM), the only method that automatically calculates crack initiation, propagation and separation of elements.
Glass Performance Analysis Features:
- Models can include the window system, laminate, reinforcement and glass thickness
- The information generated can be used for technical reports that detail the results of the analysis and offer main conclusions

Modeling of Non-Structural Components
Create a model that can include window system, laminate, reinforcement, and glass thickness.
Building Glazing Displacement
Generate technical reports detailing the results of the analysis and main conclusions.
